Overview:
Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) Training is designed for commercial pilots who are ready to take the next step in their aviation careers by becoming professional flight instructors. This rigorous program prepares candidates to effectively teach private and commercial pilot students both in the air and on the ground, with a strong emphasis on instructional techniques, lesson planning, and FAA testing standards.Through a combination of classroom instruction, one-on-one mentorship, and flight training, students will develop the skills needed to pass the FAA CFI practical exam and begin teaching in real-world flight environments.

Prerequisites:

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL) rating
-
Current FAA Medical Certificate (Second Class or higher recommended)

Minimum flight experience as required by FAR 61.183

Strong knowledge of FAA publications, including the Airman Certification Standards (ACS) and FAA-H-8083 series
